Council settings

Choose the models for each seat, how hard they think, and how strictly points are checked.

Models and seats

Who answers, who checks and who writes.

Link to Models and seats

A council has seats: proposers that answer, an auditor and checkers that verify points, and an editor that writes the final answer. On Pro you choose and order the model for each seat; Pro Max can also save its own councils.

Effort and answer length

How long models think and write.

Link to Effort and answer length

Each role has an effort level (low to extra high). More effort is slower and uses more of the run budget; answer length limits are set by the platform.

Checking settings

Rounds, verdicts per point and thresholds.

Link to Checking settings
  • Checking rounds: how many times disputed points are re-checked.
  • Verdicts per point: how many independent checks each statement gets.
  • Fairness: a model never judges its own statements (or its own company's, if you choose).
  • Thresholds: when a point counts as settled.

Tip: Every save creates a new version; the next question uses it. The defaults are the tested ones.
